Anna Samoilovych
Artist
She was born on December 1, 1985, in Kyiv, where she still lives. From a young age, she was fascinated by art. Despite this, she pursued an education in international marketing and advertising. Later, she completed courses in creating author dolls, made greeting cards, and engaged in scrapbooking, which became the foundation for her future collages. She painted fashion illustrations, completed a graphic design course, and began creating digital collages.

In 2021–2022, she studied travel illustration, quick sketching, calligraphy, and animation scripting.

In 2022, she worked on street photography, and in 2023, she experimented with analog photography. Her focus then shifted to graphic, which she dedicates the most attention to. She sometimes combines photography and graphic, creating unique compositions.

In 2024, she discovered land art – the art of working with natural materials, which became an important part of her creative practice.

In 2025, she collaborated with another artist to create a porcelain cartouche, painting it.
Artist Statement
Each of my works is a unique journey filled with symbols and characters that shape magical, fantastical, and deeply realistic worlds. My art is a dialogue between different dimensions and a pursuit of harmony.

I create works in the styles of naïve art, surrealism, and symbolism, drawing inspiration from nature, travels, exploration of places, and real-life stories. My pieces reflect the beauty, strength, and resilience of the environment and people, uniting imagination and reality.
